Images are the cheap extra. Dream Clips are the reason the app exists and the reason the 5-included cap is the real product boundary. Calls are priced to be rare. If a review tells you Joi is “unlimited video chat,” they are describing a different SKU or lying.
Dream Clips themselves: you prompt a short scene from chat or a profile, wait on the order of a minute, get ~5 seconds of generated motion. Quality in 2026 is the category standard: usable on a still-ish pose, shakier on walking, identity lock better than 2024, not a film.
